Youga School of Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance and we will be offering a 200-hr Therapeutic Yoga Teacher training beginning in January 2020 with the option of starting in September. The school is located in Corpus Christi in conjunction with our Yoga Therapy Clinic.

Our lead educator Lindy Burns, M.A., E-RYT 500, C-IAYTI, has been teaching and training for nearly 20 years and holds over 3,500 hours in advanced training, and over 10,000 hours of teaching. She takes a scientific, therapeutic, and practical approach to the rich field of Yoga. Lindy brings in skilled professionals to enrich training subject matter and educate us to integrate this preventative, non-invasive practice into mainstream society.

Yoga is becoming recognized through clinical studies as a dynamic addition to other healthcare modalities and insurance companies as well as medical and psychiatric industries are looking to utilize skilled teachers

We encourage teachers to specialize within areas of interest to thrive professionally and offer more for our communities. You will need to complete 7 weekend intensives and the 7-day residential retreat, you have so much flexibility.

*must complete 7 of the weekend intensives and the August week-long residential retreat. If you are unable to attend the highly-recommended retreat you can still fulfill all 200-hour requirements by attending 3 additional weekend intensives. Very flexible training program!

Weekend Intensive Schedule:
Friday 6-9pm
Saturday 9am-6pm
Sunday 9am-4pm

Plant-based lunches provided Saturday and Sunday.

If you are not ready to pursue extended training then the individual weekends will be open to a limited number of people to deepen their understanding in specific areas of interest.
