Deepen and hone your pulse diagnosis skills in a supportive small-group setting. Receive hands-on practice and calibration. Build confidence in what you sense under your fingertips, and practice translating this information into diagnosis and treatment planning. May these classes reinvigorate you as pulse diagnosticians who can craft more effective treatments in service of our communities. 

These classes are meant to be taken consecutively, one building on the other. See below for a description of each class. Pulse 1-3 is a similar curriculum to what was taught by Julia at MUIH in both the acupuncture and Chinese herbs program. Pulse 4 teaches directional pulses, which was not taught in the acupuncture program. Recent MUIH students of Julia’s may skip to Pulse 4 on August 30th if they feel they do not need the review from Pulse 1-3. Participants must be able to reciprocate and allow other students to practice on them in partner exercises.
